Ingredients
- 2 Cups of Almond Flour
- 1 ¾ cups of Health Garden Baking Sweetener (It also boosts rising in pastries!)
- ½ tsp of Kosher Salt
- 2 tsps. Vanilla Extract
- 1 beaten Egg
- Baking Powder- 2 tsp.
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 1 ½ cups of almond milk (or your preference)
- Health Garden Confection sugar or HG Coconut Sugar for the dusting/topping
Process
- Preheat your oven to 350 and prep your pan for nonstick.
- In a mixing bowl, combine together your flour alternative, HG baking sweetener, baking powder, and salt. Set this aside.
- Now, in a mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla extract, egg and milk. Pour this mixture into the dry mixture ⅓ at a time, stirring between mixings. Mix until blended.
- Pour this into the prepped pans. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool in pan.
- Top as desired.
